Our Veterinarian

Dr. Kelly Schaumberg

Veterinarian

Kelly Schaumberg attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated from Veterinary School in 2004. Her professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, as well as dentistry. After gaining years of experience in the area, Kelly became the owner of Wrightstown Veterinary Clinic in 2010.

As a veterinarian, she finds great fulfillment in caring for animals and helping their owners provide the best possible care. She believes that having a pet is one of life’s greatest joys, and caring for them should be a rewarding experience. At her clinic, the goal is to treat every pet like family. Kelly is committed to taking the time to answer questions and ensure that every veterinary visit is positive.

Kelly currently lives in Wrightstown with her husband Bill and their four children: Audrey, Liam, Landon, and Charlotte. Their household also includes their dogs named Sherman and Beth. In her free time, she enjoys attending sporting events, cooking, entertaining friends, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry companions.

Dr. Hailey Kappus

Veterinarian

Dr. Hailey Kappus earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota and has experience in small animal medicine. She has advanced training in Fear Free veterinary care and is actively pursuing Elite certification to further support her low-stress approach to patient care. She also has special interests in surgery.

Dr. Kappus’ passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age and was reinforced through hands-on experience working at a dog daycare and boarding facility during high school. She encourages clients to trust their instincts when it comes to their pets, believing that owners are often the first to notice when something isn’t quite right.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kappus enjoys spending time with her husband and their many furry and scaly companions, including three dogs, a cat, and a ball python. She enjoys competing in agility events with her dogs, and has the unique talent of being able to recite the alphabet backwards.
