Just as with people, the first year of a kitten's life requires multiple visits to the doctor. The goal is to monitor proper growth, detect any congenital issues, establish proper immunity, eliminate parasites, and assure that you have a well-behaved family member.
In order to make this important first step more affordable for you, we have created our Kitten Wellness Package. It allows you to spread out the cost of your kitten's wellness care into 3 equally priced visits. The services included in each visit are outlined below.
Kitten Package Services and Schedule:
8-11 Weeks of Age
Complete Physical Exam to assess overall health & any congenital problems
Feline Leukemia/FIV Combo test if needed
Deworming for roundworms and hookworms
Vaccine: FVRCP #1(Distemper/Upper Respiratory Complex)
Nail Trim
Start flea & heartworm prevention - single dose
12-14 Weeks of Age
Kitten Progress Examination- evaluates vital body systems & development
Deworming for roundworms and hookworms
Vaccine: FVRCP #2 (Distemper/Upper Respiratory Complex)
Vaccine: Feline leukemia #1
Continue Flea & Heartworm Prevention, single dose
16-18 Weeks of Age
Kitten Progress Examination
Intestinal Parasite Screen (fecal centrifugation)
Vaccine: FVRCP #3 (Distemper/Upper Respiratory Complex)
Vaccine: Rabies 1year (includes tag & certificate)
Vaccine: Feline Leukemia #2
Continue Flea & Heartworm Prevention, single dose

- The package is spread out over three visits in order to make budgeting for kitten care easier and more predictable. Declining certain services at each visit does not change the price of the package or the visit.
- Kittens must be three months or younger at the start of preventative care
- Each visit is a scheduled appointment with the doctor and will give you ample time to discuss any questions or concerns. We feel that this is important in giving your kitten the best possible start to a healthy life.
- Payment is due at the time of each service.
- The Kitten Wellness Package does NOT include:
- Additional doses of heartworm & flea prevention beyond the single dose at each visit
- Spay or neuter surgery
- Medical care for any injury or illness condition beyond what is outlined in the package
